Trade builder: SorareData’s Trade builder tool makes it easier than ever to see the value of cards in a potential trade between managers. To navigate to the Trade builder, simply click on the Market dropdown at the top of any SorareData page.
The builder allows you to select any player, or players, from another manager’s gallery to see the current floor prices of the cards, as well as the last averages. You can then select cards from your own gallery to try and match valuations.
Or, if you are interested in reviewing a trade you received on Sorare, your current outstanding offers are imported to make it easier to review the valuations and decide if you want to accept or reject it.
How many SO5 entries actually have five starters? ✅ ✅ ✅ ✅ ✅
Avoiding DNPs and getting five starters is the goal of every Sorare manager as they enter any competition, and we’ve written previously about how much more successful those with five starters have in terms of winning rewards. But just because we want five starters in our lineups doesn’t mean we always get them.
Projecting starting lineups is a tough task, and it’s a big reason why we recently released our Projected Lineups tool, which allows all SorareData members to not only submit their own projected lineups, but also see how many community members agree with their selections.
We also started to wonder if there were certain regions that had more lineups with five starters than others. The expectation is that it is “easier” to get five starters in Champion Europe because there is more media coverage of those leagues than others throughout the world, and with more injury and suspension information available, Sorare managers can make better lineup decisions.
Here’s a breakdown of recent weekend gameweeks, showing the percentage of total entries in each competition that had five starters.
Based on the five-starter percentages for each competition in each scarcity, we do see that Champion Europe is often the one with the most lineups with five starters across the four scarcity competitions shown, though it’s still usually below 50%. And on the other side, we see Sorare managers struggle with getting five starters in Asia competitions, which are consistently the lowest or second-lowest during weekend gameweeks.
Another way to look at this is to see if there are more five-starter SO5 lineups in certain scarcities. For example, here are the percentages of total entries with five starters in each Champion Europe and Asia competition since GW 294 (when Champion Europe started back up after the summer offseason):
Given that All Star and U23 competitions allow cards from all regions, we see the percentage of entries with five starters sitting between Champion Europe and Asia.
Looking at it slightly differently, if we take the average of each competition and scarcity over the past seven weekend gameweeks, we also see an interesting outcome that shows managers participating in Super Rare competitions are getting more lineups of five starters than those in Rare Pro, Rare and Limited.
Granted, there are fewer entries in the divisions with higher scarcity cards, but it goes to show how important getting five starters in those competitions is to succeed.
And that brings us back to our free SorareData Projected Lineups tool, which only becomes more powerful and valuable for all SorareData members with more users submitting their projections. As mentioned in last week’s announcement, we are also building a competition around these projected lineups so that users who are accurate with their predictions will be rewarded for their work. We are still ironing out the final details, but we encourage everyone to familiarize themselves with the tool so that they’re fully ready to go when the new competition begins shortly.
